adidas retail sales kit
Story: Lollitogs held the license for adidas children's activewear and was trying to get the brand in more sports retailers. They needed a sales kit that spilled the powerful equity of the brand into children's sports. They also wanted to emphasize that retailers taking on the adidas line were not only buying inventory, but also a team concept that promised the support of Lollitogs.
To play into the team concept, we curated moody, authentic-feeling stock images of children in team sport situations. Graphic diagrams of set plays for football, basketball and soccer were layered over the photos to emphasize the strategic, action-oriented approach Lollitogs brings to their relationships with retailers. We wrote copy for each spread that felt competitive and inspirational, like a classic coach-delivered pep talk.
Special finishes like metallic inks, grommet binding, and felt cover with embossing were designed into the kit, reflecting the adidas dedication to performance. And finally, pockets built into each spread and a DVD holder in the back provided flexibility to customized the pitch to each retailer.
The client loved how the kit felt like a statement piece, and the design went on to be featured in PRINT's Regional Design Annual.
